The name Camaro is synonymous with power. It’s usually not due to new advanced features, like Magnetic Ride Control, that can change damping in as little as 10 to 15 milliseconds. For the most part, the Camaro is associated with horsepower and torque. In the 2023 Camaro, however, you get all of this and then some. With direct injection technology available in all four engine choices, street-legal performance is what the 2023 Camaro is all about.

The Camaro’s entry level engine, the 2L Turbo, comes with a standard 275 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque with direct injection, variable valve timing, and a 30 mpg highway fuel efficiency. It does all of this while achieving an impressive zero-to-sixty of 5.4 seconds. In other Camaro engines, like the 3.6L V6, there’s 335 hp and a zero-to-sixty of 5.2 seconds. The 6.2L LT1 V8 is even faster, coming in at just 4.3 seconds. And, best of all, the available 6.2L LT4 Supercharged V8 has an impressive 650 hp with a zero-to-sixty of just 3.7 seconds.
